Private Elemental Yoga Therapy is done in one-to-one sessions, working towards improving your ability to manage and change any current personal health conditions. One Session
In a Single Session we will choose the best starting point for you depending on what you would like to work on. We then practice the Yoga together as I teach you how to do each pose and how to breathe to move the most energy, leaving some time to explain a few of the most effective poses for you to do at home. One off sessions tend to focus more on physical movements and simple issues and can be great for quick relief of short and long term discomfort. Often I find that these sessions tend to create a feeling to take more time, and so they can be rolled into deeper explorations of what changes you would really like to make.
Three Sessions
Three connected sessions allows us to work more thoroughly, and by taking your current abilities with your body into consideration, and discussing general food and lifestyle choices which may be poorly effecting your energy levels, we can create the perfect platform for better health. In each Session, we will practice new medicinal yoga sequences together, leaving time for you to feel the way it effects you. At the end of the session we will go through the postures and breathing so that you fully understand what you can do at home to deepen the effects of the practices. I will show you how to link the sequences together to make a full class, or to make variations to keep the practice from becoming repetitive. We will pick a couple of approachable dietary changes to compliment the Yoga sequences, and the organs which they target for an improvement in function.
Six Sessions
The style and set out of the sessions is similar, though with more time in Six connected Sessions, we are able to really personalize the purpose for the practices. The more you can learn in your initial sessions the less sessions you require to get going by yourself, and I think that if you are really looking to change your current health condition, this is a great gift to yourself. It’s not that you need 6 sessions to change any given situation, it’s just that you can learn a lot more with the extra time.
Twelve Sessions
Usually taken over the course of a Season, taking a dozen sessions is a considerable Yoga journey and will bring you many associated benefits outside the original reason you choose them. Aligned with the Seasonal Yoga process and creating deeper and more complimentary class structures for you to combine, this way of working is like having your own holistic health teacher to draw from over an extended period. Ideal for more chronic conditions or suitable for anyone just wanting to navigate or create life direction changes, working inside the Seasons on your own personal health with Yoga Therapy is a serious but lighthearted way to move forward.
